CONGRATULATIONS
The Interior PGA Tour resumed their schedule on Monday where a field of 42 PGA of BC members teed off on The Okanagan Golf Club's Quail Course. Congratulations to Finlay Young (GolfTEC Kelowna - pictured above), whose round of 2-under par 69 was one better than Vernon Golf & Country Club's Bryce Barker to take home medalist honours and the $580 first place cheque. Barker cashes $385 for his runner-up efforts while Matt Jones (Penticton Golf & Country Club) and Matt Hardman (Sunset Ranch Golf & Country Club) shared third place, each taking home $317.

On the Kootenay Pro Tour circuit, Peter Kenneford (Creston Golf Club - pictured below) managed to tame the field and difficult scoring conditions at St. Eugene Golf Resort & Casino, also taking place on Monday. His 2-under par round of 70 was good enough for a two stroke victory over Trevor Simkins (Bootleg Gap Golf). Rounding out the top finishers were Jeremy Johnson & Jeff Wiggins who both tied for third place after rounds of 74. Kenneford cashes $530 for his win while Simkins earns $400. Johnson and Wiggins each take home $280 for their efforts.
