PGA of BC RELEASES 2019 CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE
Earlier this week, the Association was proud to release the schedule for its 2019 championships, which includes eight events to be held at seven spectacular PGA of BC facilities between May and October.

A major highlight of this year's schedule is a return to the Kootenays region, which has not hosted one of the PGA of BC's active championships since 2000.

The PGA of BC's 2019 championship schedule is as follows:

BOARD SEEKS INTEREST IN VOLUNTEERS FOR PGA of BC COMMITTEES
The PGA of British Columbia Board of Directors is seeking members interested in volunteering to serve on one of the Association's various advisory committees.

These committees allow for greater engagement with the membership at large and provide the board with a wider array of input to consider on a number of fronts, including strategic and long-range planning, grow-the-game initiatives, the PGA of BC Awards Program, events, education, tournaments and more.

APRIL PLAYING ABILITY TEST REGISTRATION DEADLINE APPROACHING
Applicants are reminded that registration will close in 15 days for the PGA of BC-administered Spring Playing Ability Test.

This PAT will be held April 3-4 at Kings Links by the Sea and is open to both male and female applicants for a $150 fee.

Tournament fields are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, with preference given to those working full-time in the golf industry. Early registration fees are available for all events until 21 days prior to a tournament's start date.
