The PGA of Canada announced earlier this week that the Association's 2020 Annual General Meeting will be conducted online due to the ongoing impacts of COVID-19.

Previously scheduled for next week in Elbow, Sask., the AGM will now be held via Zoom on Thursday, June 4 at 10 a.m. PT. Attendees must pre-register to attend; those registered will receive more information, including a link to the Zoom meeting, via email closer to the AGM date.

All members are encouraged to participate, though only Class "A" members are permitted to vote on any motions under consideration. Eligible members can vote on the motions under consideration now until June 4 on the PGA of Canada website. Log in to your PGA of Canada account to be prompted with a pop-up voting window; you may need to log out and log back in for the window to appear. The PGA of BC is pleased to announce that exhibitor registration is now open for the Association's 2020 Buying Show, which returns to Richmond Olympic Oval on Oct. 14-15.

This event represents the largest annual gathering of PGA of BC members at British Columbia's premier golf-merchandise buying show. Exhibitor registration for this year's Buying Show is now open, with early registration concluding on July 3 and general registration ending Sept. 11 . We are proud to continue to offer booth rates that are among the most affordable in Canada, with special pricing available to Preferred Partners and Sponsors of the Association.
Although it is difficult to predict the impacts related to COVID-19 that may persist by the scheduled dates of this year’s Buying Show, please be assured that the PGA of BC is closely monitoring the guidance and regulations set forth by regional and provincial health authorities in assessing the safety and viability of this event. Should it be determined that the 2020 Buying Show exceeds the parameters of permissible gatherings outlined by relevant authorities, or that it cannot otherwise be conducted in a manner that is safe for all participants, registered exhibitors will receive a full refund of their registration fees.
