FACT OF THE WEEK
Golf Professionals considering bringing a team to the 2019 Jack McLaughlin Memorial PGA of BC Pro-Junior Championship presented by COBRA PUMA Golf are advised that multiple options to save on the costs of travel and registration are available to participating teams.

With this year's event -- set for July 22 at Highland Pacific Golf -- taking place on Vancouver Island, teams travelling from the mainland are advised that they can apply for subsidized ferry travel through viaSport British Columbia's BC Ferries Sport Experience Program. Up to two, one-way travel vouchers for each participating junior and their accompanying Golf Professional may be granted through the program.

The PGA of BC will be offering all teams a further fundraising opportunity, with the potential to cover the entire cost of registration and the majority of any travel or accommodations that may be required.

Click below to access the tournament page and find more information about both initiatives.
