REMINDER: NOV. 30 DEADLINE FOR PDP SUBMISSIONS
Members are reminded that Nov. 30 will be the final day to make submissions for points to count toward their 2020 total in the PGA of BC Professional Development Program (PDP) Order of Merit presented by Sunice & Bobby Jones.

Submissions must be received by 4 p.m. PT on Nov. 30 in order to be considered.

Furthermore, members are reminded that any point requisitions must be accompanied by supporting documentation to verify the undertakings for which points are requested. Supporting documents must be sent by email to [email protected], and received by the above deadline for consideration. Submissions are not reviewed until supporting documentation has been received.

Final tabulations for the PDP Order of Merit will take place after the deadline, with the results determining those earning the distinction of being among the province's Top 100 Golf Professionals for 2020.

APPRENTICE PROFESSIONALS: SUBMISSION OF 2020 HOURS DUE DEC. 1
Apprentice Professionals are reminded of the requirement to submit their 2020 employment hours to the PGA of Canada by the Dec. 1 deadline.

All Apprentice Professionals must log a minimum of 3,000 hours worked in the golf industry in order to obtain Class "A" status. Those who have not submitted their hours before the Dec. 1 deadline may have their membership status placed in the Inactive category.

Submission of your industry hours for the year can be completed via the PGA of Canada website. Click below to access the submission form.

Available: US Kids Golf bags

The administration team has received a donation of four US Kids Golf bags that we are pleased to offer at no cost to interested members who can make use of them at their facilities or for their students.

All four are the Ultralight Carry Bag model. Three bags are sized at 29 inches; one sized at 25 inches. All gently used, still in good condition.

The bags are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Pickup at the PGA of BC administration office during regular office hours -- please call ahead at 604-303-6766 to ensure availability -- or contact Communications & Marketing Manager Eric MacKenzie at [email protected] to discuss shipping.

Members are asked to ensure that their personal information on file with the PGA of Canada and PGA of BC is up to date, particularly if they will transitioning to a new role for the 2021 season.

Both the PGA of BC and national administration offices use the contact information listed on each member's PGA of Canada profile to remain in touch and deliver important information and mailings. If your workplace email and mailing address are set as your primary contact points, it is vital to update these upon a change to your employment.

As well, the PGA of BC kindly requests confirmation of any changes to your employment, to the roster of the Professional staff at your facility, and any changes to your primary email address. Changes to the PGA of BC mailing list must be completed by the administration team, so please be sure to advise if you require E-News and other PGA of BC communications to be forwarded to a new email.
