REMINDER: NOV. 30 DEADLINE FOR PDP SUBMISSIONS
Members are reminded that Monday will be the final day to make submissions for points to count toward their 2020 total in the PGA of BC Professional Development Program (PDP) Order of Merit presented by Sunice Bobby Jones.

Submissions must be received by 4 p.m. PT on Nov. 30 in order to be considered.

Furthermore, members are reminded that any point requisitions must be accompanied by supporting documentation to verify the undertakings for which points are requested. Supporting documents must be sent by email to pdp@pgabc.org, and received by the above deadline for consideration. Submissions are not reviewed until supporting documentation has been received.

Final tabulations for the PDP Order of Merit will take place after the deadline, with the results determining those earning the distinction of being among the province's Top 100 Golf Professionals for 2020.

Members are encouraged to click below to view the current PDP Order of Merit standings, to make a requisition for points or review what activities are considered for PDP credit, and to review all other program information.
BERNAKEVITCH NAMED TO SASKATCHEWAN GOLF HALL OF FAME
Last week, Victoria Golf Club Head Professional Lindsay Bernakevitch was named to the 2020 induction class of the Saskatchewan Golf Hall of Fame.

Prior to joining the PGA of Canada in 2006, Bernakevitch was one of the most dominant amateur competitors in Saskatchewan history. He captured four consecutive Amateur Men's titles in the province between 2000 and 2003, and was a member of Team Canada from 2001 through 2004. He was also a two-time champion of the prestigious Glencoe Invitational, made six appearances in the Canadian Men's Amateur Championship and represented Canada internationally at several events.

An induction for Bernakevitch and other members of the 2020 class will be held at a date to be determined in the future. The PGA of BC extends its congratulations to Bernakevitch on this tremendous honour. Click below to read the induction class announcement.
APPRENTICE PROFESSIONALS: SUBMISSION OF 2020 HOURS DUE DEC. 1
Apprentice Professionals are reminded of the requirement to submit their 2020 employment hours to the PGA of Canada by the Dec. 1 deadline.

All Apprentice Professionals must log a minimum of 3,000 hours worked in the golf industry in order to obtain Class "A" status. Those who have not submitted their hours before the Dec. 1 deadline may have their membership status placed in the Inactive category.

Submission of your industry hours for the year can be completed via the PGA of Canada website. Click below to access the submission form.

Videos from the series, including those from past years, can be viewed for a nominal fee and are worth one (1) point each when making a requisition.
 
Please note that members can claim a maximum of two (2) video views per day. Each member is eligible to earn a maximum of twenty (20) PDP points resulting from Education Series participation in 2020.
