PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM STANDINGS PRESENTED BY SUNICE & BOBBY JONES: NOVEMBER UPDATE

The PGA of BC's Professional Development Program standings race, presented by Sunice & Bobby Jones, enters its final weeks of the season.

Callum Ashby (Highland Pacific Golf) holds a significant lead in the overall standings, having earned a whopping 130 points this year through a commitment to education, professional development and volunteerism. Brian Schaal (Copper Point Golf Club) and Ryan Tofani (Chilliwack Golf Club) are neck-and-neck, with Schaal in second place having earned 109 points, and Tofani clipping at his heels in third, having earned 106 points.

Ashby also leads the Assistants' standings, while Dennis Bradley (Copper Point Golf Club) is in second place with 100 points. Chris Ward (Shaughnessy Golf & Country Club) rounds out the podium, having earned 89 points this year.

Carson Spooner (Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club) has disrupted what was looking like a two-person race between Shania Remandaban (The Vancouver Golf Club) and Bradley Gagnon (Capilano Golf & Country Club). Spooner is hoping to play spoiler after overtaking his competitors to earn 61 points this year. Remandaban is not far behind, having earned 58 points, while Gagnon has earned 55 points to set up a close final race.

The PGA of BC reminds members that the final deadline to make PDP submissions is November 30. Submissions can be made here.

We extend our appreciation to presenting sponsors Sunice & Bobby Jones for their support of this initiative. The top-ten point earners at the end of the season will be rewarded from a cash purse of $4,000.
