Waiting for the snow to melt!
Springing into a
new season!

March...in like a lion, out like a lamb. Mother Nature sure got the first of the month right, let's keep our fingers crossed the end of the month is like a lamb. We could sure use a break from the weather extremes of the past year. No matter what she throws at us this year, we're ready! The past couple months, we have been able to enjoy the down time with family and friends and tackle those tasks that have been on the back burner. Everything was cleaned up, tuned up, painted and ordered for the 2019 season to start, so come on warmer weather! The Pro Shop opened March 1, but as you see in the photo, the course won't be ready to play for a while. It will be a week or two after the snow melts before we can have the course playable.

Carving of the Oak tree by the practice green is scheduled to begin mid-to late March. Follow us on Facebook for updates on this project!

The shoreline project bids were opened on February 4, 2019. All bids came in well over budget so staff recommended the Park Board to reject all bids. We are looking into changing the scope of the project to at least address the erosion in front of #3 green. Updates will follow.

On behalf of the grounds crew, welcome back and hope we all have a wonderful golfing season!
