Partnership Grand Strand Bulletin

APRIL, 2025

Series 3, Issue 4

April is nature’s way of saying

“Hey, Let’s Bloom”

This quote is so appropriate for Partnership Grand Strand, as everyday we continue to bloom, gain more momentum and deliver improved results.

We’ve added a section to our newsletter to keep you posted on our highlights from last month and encourage you to continue to watch us grow.

We have a busy April planned, as you will see below, but we also have some HUGE initiatives building for the May and June period. Stay tuned for more details, but we will be delivering a middle manager development program as well as a summer Youth Leadership Camp.

We will be hiring an intern from the RISE program to help us with our brand awareness as well as our BIG DEAL Contest. Lastly, we are working closely with a team of Coastal students on a BIG idea to create a single source of workforce and small business resources for Horry County.

We’re excited about the future and we couldn’t do any of this if it wasn’t for YOU… our amazing investors! Thanks as always.

March Highlights

Here's what has been happening recently at PGS...

BIG Deal Contest Winners!

Bug Busters Pest and Mosquito Control and CLEAR Message were both treated to lunch on PGS after being selected the January & February winners, respectively.

That’s a Wrap!

We’re thrilled to celebrate the successful conclusion of the Horry County Schools Career & Technical Education (CTE) Showcase! This event brought together hundreds of students and local businesses, creating an incredible opportunity for hands-on career exploration and meaningful connections.

The impact of this event was felt by all who attended:

“Huge awareness and pride about our local schools and future generations.”

 Luisa Soto, Bank of America

"Renewed hope in our future! I did not realize the number of skills and trades being taught today. These skills set students up for success!”

 Amy Stack, Belfor

A huge thank you to our participating businesses, educators, and students for making this showcase such a success.

Your engagement and enthusiasm help build a stronger, more prepared workforce for our community.
