July marks the beginning of Partnership Grand Strand's second year of being fully operational, and we are super excited to announce our new Community Advisory Council.  This council is composed of business leaders across our multiple Grand Strand communities. It has been created to provide insight, coaching and validation to our work in both workforce and small business retention.

These community leaders will take an active role in the identification, creation and communication of our multiple initiatives. It is our hope that they will be help cascade the opportunities we are creating in each of their local communities.

We are truly stronger together and we can't thank these individuals enough for giving us their time and expertise throughout this upcoming fiscal year.

About the CCU RISE Internship Program

The RISE summer internship program is an opportunity for local employers to customize a job description that meets their specific needs and secure the university experts to identify the best potential students. The company that elects to take on a RISE intern agrees to make the experience as beneficial as possible for the student.

These internships are made possible by Partnership Grand Strand and make getting a highly talented summer intern extremely affordable.

PGS has successfully placed 13 interns in the Grand Strand area for summer 2024. This year's sponsors include Bank of America, HTC, and Partnership Grand Strand and will make getting a highly talented intern extremely affordable.
