Dear Park Hill Christian Congregation,

After much prayer and reflection, I have decided to step down from my position as the Director of Music Ministries to focus on finishing school and balancing increasing responsibilities. It has been a true blessing to serve alongside such a faith-filled community, and I am deeply grateful for the love, support, and fellowship I have experienced here. Thank you for allowing me to share in the gift of worship through music with you all. I will continue my duties until my final Sunday, December 28th, so I can celebrate one more Christmas with you all.

"The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord lift up his countenance on you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

Each Sunday in Advent, members of our congregation are invited to take part in worship by reading a devotional and lighting the Advent candles. Individuals, families, or small groups are all welcome to volunteer. This meaningful tradition is a beautiful way to share in the joy and reflection of the season.

If you would like to participate in lighting the Advent candles and reading the devotional, please reply to this email, or contact the church office at 501-753-1109 so we can let you know which Sundays are available.

All women are invited to Disciples Women this Thursday, November 13, at 10:00 a.m. in the Parlor. Betsy White will lead a time of study and worship, and afterwards the group will enjoy lunch out together. Janet Spickes will serve as hostess for this special time of fellowship.

Our November service project supports the Fort Roots Veterans. Donations of books, socks, underwear, hats, and games are greatly appreciated.

As we move into the busy holiday season, our Food Pantry shelves need a little extra help. Cereal and peanut butter are two of our most-needed items, and we’ll need even more to meet the demand during Thanksgiving and Christmas. Please consider picking up a few extra boxes of cereal or jars of peanut butter on your next grocery trip and bringing them to the church. Thank you for your generosity!

We need meals for our youth group on Wednesday evenings in December! If you prefer, a $50 donation may be given to cover a meal.
