As the semester comes to an end, many students are preparing final projects and studying for exams. It is also a time to look ahead and select classes for the spring term.

Take a virtual tour
The new Porter Campus at Wiregrass Ranch in Wesley Chapel will open on the first day of spring term classes which begin on January 13, 2014. Students interested in taking classes on the Porter Campus can register online (if a current student) or in-person at the Brooksville, Dade City, New Port Richey, or Spring Hill campuses. 
 
Beginning in August 2014, PHCC will offer new health career programs pending final approval by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Pharmacy Technician and Surgical Technology will be available exclusively at the Porter Campus. Students can take prerequisite courses at any PHCC campus in the spring term. The prerequisite courses include Introduction to Health Occupations, Medical Language, and Fundamentals of Body Structure and Function. 

Join Us for a Poetry Celebration

 

Students, faculty, staff, and community members are invited to listen and participate in an open-mike poetry reading on Friday, November 22 at the North Campus in Brooksville. The bi-annual event begins at 7 p.m. in B-104/105.

 

Professor Emeritus Richard Downing, Ph.D., and Professor of Language Arts, Kay McKamy, Ph.D., are coordinating the event. PHCC's North Campus Student Government Association and the newly formed Fine Arts Club will provide refreshments and door prizes. Those interested in reading one or two poems may sign up at the door.

parties schedule listed on page 69 in the 2013-2014 PHCC Student Planner is misprinted. End of Term parties will be held on Monday, November 25, as indicated on page 64. Event time and location for each campus can be found also on page 64. These parties are sponsored by the Student Government Association.
