Location: PHLT's Glen Run Nature Preserve
A BioBlitz is designed to be part contest, part festival, part educational event and part scientific endeavor that will bring together scientists and the public, in a race against time to count the species of plants and animals that live on the preserve's 180 acres.
The public is welcome to get involved on Saturday, June 23 from 9am-3pm.
The final species count will be announced at 3pm at
You can help for a few hours or just stop by to learn about the process.
Kids of all ages will be excited to observe and learn about how scientists do their jobs in the lab and in the field.
All activities at the BioBlitz are FREE!
