PHNCI is excited to announce that our new and refreshed website is live! From streamlined menus and clear navigation to an interactive responsive layout for all platforms, our goal is to provide our visitors an easier way to learn about our current programming, as well as to search for public health innovations and other resources.

Innovation in Governmental Public Health: Building a Roadmap
After months of development and refinement, PHNCI is pleased to announce that Innovation in Governmental Public Health: Building a Roadmap is now available! This roadmap aims to describe what innovation in public health practice might look like as health departments consider, develop, and implement innovation ideas. This work is being considered as an early developmental concept, which will be improved over time. Therefore, the definition, characteristics, and organizational culture listed should all be considered as “working” for now, with more definitive versions to be developed as PHNCI learns more from the public health field.

New Multimedia Resources
PHNCI has released two new videos to help promote our work and the foundational public health services, as well as the Innovation eLearning Series in order to provide the knowledge needed to rethink the traditional boundaries of public health and advance a culture of health. Topics in the eLearning series include:

Public Health Innovation Award
The National Network of Public Health Institutes (NNPHI) is pleased to announce that its 2017 Awards Program is accepting nominations for the Public Health Innovation Award, which is bestowed on an organization or individual who has taken a risk and developed an out-of-the-box solution or created a unique partnership resulting in new approaches, scalable ideas, and new ways of working together.
