Kim Harwood loved PIA and was committed to giving back to her community. She was a strong supporter of Special Olympics of Virginia, the charity that PIAVADC has supported for the past 37 years.



Kim’s commitment to PIA and the insurance industry was noted by the many awards she received, including Young Professional of the Year, Agent of the Year, and National Agent of the Year. While Kim received so many accolades over the years, she didn’t set out to win any of them. She just made sure that she always did the right thing, and the awards followed. We all miss Kim and the love and energy that she had for our business and for PIA. She touched many lives in her community, her church, and at PIA. She left us way too soon, but she did leave us better for having known her.
