Dear PIMC Community,

For the past several days, the teachers, board and staff of PIMC have been carefully monitoring the news and guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. In order to protect the well-being of our community, we have made the decision to practice social distancing and  temporarily suspend in-person gatherings at PIMC as of the end of day on Saturday.

Instead, our teachers and group leaders are finding ways to gather online. More information will be coming soon via email, on the PIMC website and on PIMC Facebook page. In addition, our teachers will be making additional time available for dharma consults via phone or Skype/Zoom.

We encourage you to stay connected to the PIMC community and to each other. In times of uncertainty, our practice is more important than ever. Have compassion with yourself and the people around you. Our sangha may not be meeting in person, but we can still be here to support each other.

We do not yet know what form it will take, but we are in the process of creating a way that we can be of service to one another, perhaps including grocery delivery.

As the situation changes, we will keep you updated. Until then, hold yourself, each other and our world in lovingkindness and compassion.
