PINKK Leadership Introductions

ANNE & ELLE SHRADER

Co-founders of City Haus Chicago they are a mother-daughter team that always wanted to work together and hoped to open a store one day. During the pandemic they quarantined together and started dreaming and then the dreaming turned to planning and then they opened their dream store October of 2021. Their concept is unique and handmade ceramics, artwork, and furniture.

They have artists and artisans from Chicago, Paris, Belgium, Melbourne, New York, Los Angeles, and many more.

About 90-95% of their products are made by women. Women supporting women in real time!

NORA KISS

Nora Kiss, Senior Advisor for Cultural and Community Development to the Mayor of the Second District of Budapest, Hungary. Kiss is currently leading the Budapest municipality's strategy development process on culture and communities.

In this strategic process, we are working on the priority that culture has a role in shaping society. Culture builds strong local communities and is also inclusive. Kiss prioritizes women's inequality in society, which culture, community experiences, and community development can be excellent mediators in addressing.

Kiss's experience includes working at the National Confederation of Hungarian Trade Unions as the Spokesman’s Assistant, at the State Department of Education and Culture as a Secretary of Parliamentary Administration, and as a Personal Assistant for the Secretary of State for Education and Culture.

Kiss has also worked at the Hungarian National Museum as a Leader of the Department of Communication and Strategy and has had extensive experience in the business sector. Kiss received her BA in Pedagogy at the University of Szeged and holds an MA diploma in Sociology from Eötvös University.

NINA CORDER

Corder is the current Facilitator for the World Academy for the Future of Women, an NGO with Consultative Status with the United Nations, and Managing Advisor of the women entrepreneurship network mapping, HerHub Global.

Corder's primary area of expertise is women's economic empowerment, leadership, and international development. This expertise is expressed through several intersecting domains, as seen through the lenses of human rights, economic equity, and global inclusion.
