Fall is in the air! Before diving into this quarter's newsletter, we want to highlight that our next event is on 11/16, Transgender Day of Remembrance is on 11/20, and November is both Trans Awareness Month and Native American Heritage Month. Let's remember to center the experiences of diverse communities as we continue to advocate and educate on behalf of LGBTQ+ professionals. PIOW Board Strategic Planning Meeting

Our Board of Directors has been hard at work preparing and delivering LGBTQ+ equity and inclusion content.
For the first time in nearly two years, the PIOW Board was able to gather in-person to begin building out a programmatic strategy for 2022. We’re working on some exciting projects, and we can’t wait to bring them to life soon.

November 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR), a day observed annually to honor lives lost to acts of anti-transgender hate and violence.
