Summer 2020 Newsletter
Summer has started off strong!
Despite the challenges facing the globe, PIP has continued its programming -- including continuing to match Finalists into internships, supporting our Alumni Network, holding workshops, and recruiting for the next cycle.
Check out what's new with PIP.
Join the growing efforts to support our incredible Finalists, our expanding programming, and our matching efforts!
In case you missed it...
Cycle 10's third workshop was run by long-time PIP partner, Taleb Idkeidek. Taleb held a 2-part workshop focusing on professional networking and job hunting. PIP focuses on helping our Finalists develop tools to help them both during the program, and post-PIP. Once the program has finished, Finalists begin their individual job hunts and career development, and it is our hope that they will use the tools learned during PIP to succeed in their future careers.
Cycle 10 Wrap Up.
It's that time of year again where we reflect on the successes of our outgoing cohort of Finalists. In Cycle 10, we've had 5 interns matched and started internships so far -- with others in their final interview stages! New companies added to the PIP Network include Cisco, SciPlay, GGtude, and Fornova. Cycle 10 was a challenge, as it began alongside a Global Pandemic. Like many other organizations, companies, and programs around the world, PIP experienced significant challenges. But thanks to our exceptional host companies, and to our hardworking, bright interns, onboarding was accomplished remotely and internships have continued successfully . Cycle 10 was a learning experience for everyone involved -- but we're proud to report that PIPers worked through these challenges and have come out stronger.
We're Starting Cycle 11!
With Cycle 10 nearing completion, PIP has now set its sights on the next stage! Cycle 11 will begin July 1, and we have a truly wonderful incoming cohort, selected from among more than 200 applicants across East Jerusalem and the West Bank. While we won't be able to host our semi-annual Graduation Event, we hope to celebrate with you and our incredible Finalists, Interns, and Alumni once it is safe to do so.
In the meantime, follow us on LinkedIn , Facebook , and in our Newsletters to stay up to date on how we are doing!

We're Piloting PMP!
We've decided to pilot a new project within PIP: The Palestinian Mentorship Program (PMP)
PMP will connect some of the leading senior tech professionals in Palestine with (online) mentors abroad who have relevant industry experience, thereby further exposing the Palestinian tech sector to international resources.
