Club GM, Ali Feezor

Message from PIYC General Manager

A large part of our communication efforts these past weeks has been focused on our response and recovery efforts associated with Hurricane Ian. Our successes coming out of the storm are in large part due to our team, and I have some important updates for our Members pertaining to our Staff. Please join me in welcoming and wishing well Members of our team mentioned below.

Employee Highlights

Thank you, Chef Paul!

Our dedicated Executive Chef, Paul Palmer has accepted an exciting opportunity at a local Golf Club for the next step in his Culinary Career. Paul has worked at PIYC three separate times over the years, totaling over 15 years of service. He is talented, personable and will be sincerely missed. We wish him all the best as he continues to grow in his chosen field, and thank him warmly for the many great memories.

A Letter from Chef Paul

PIYC Finance Department Spotlight

Logan and Casey will support us remotely

We have been going through some transition in our Finance Department, and have settled into a model that we think is a win, win, win.

Our former CFO, Logan, is working with us in a formalized part-time remote capacity having relocated to Amelia Island earlier this summer. Casey, our Club Accountant will continue to work full-time in a remote capacity from North Carolina. We are fortunate to have such dedicated staff that are willing to remain a part of the PIYC family even as they move on from SWFL.

Welcome Aboard, Lexie!

We are very excited to welcome Alexandra Pedit as Accounting Clerk at PIYC! Lexie will be working closely with Logan and Casey to handle onsite accounting needs and provide Member Support.

Office Plan Update

We are in the process of transitioning select functions to trailers as we gear up for Season. Our lower level housed all housekeeping, facility and food and beverage equipment and personnel. We are working on getting connectivity and storage in place for these staff members.

Welcome Aboard, Seasonal Staff!

Join us as we extend a warm welcome to our international team! First to arrive are Maria and Ignjat, who will be Dining Room Supervisors and have been helping already with the recovery efforts. We look forward to introducing the rest of our team as they arrive in the coming month.

Club Employee Clean-Up

The commitment of our team to getting our beautiful Club back in shape has been humbling. From bringing their own equipment and supplies from home to just pitching in on every last task - they have been amazing. Our admin team continued to get the job done from remote corners! We are thankful for the camaraderie and resiliency of every department.

Your Club Staff is working closely with Club Leadership to publish as much information as we have available at this time. Stay updated as we post important Club and Marina updates and announcements on the PIYC Website. We also have compiled a series of questions that are commonly asked and cover topics including the Club and Marina.
