Free Program

Sunday, September 26
3:00-4:00 pm
at the park

Parents! Bring your young children to our Sukkot celebration in the Park on Sunday, September 26 from 3 to 4 pm. (Directions and details to follow) On the last day of this holiday, your young artists will create their own Sukkot-harvest themed craft with lots of Autumn’s vibrant colors. They will color, cut, tear, paste and assemble their take-home project, hear a PJ library Sukkot story, enjoy a delicious cupcake, sip on boxed juice, and learn all about how we celebrate this holiday. Come and meet other families like you!

This wonderful Fall gathering is generously sponsored by Alicia and Michael Feldman.

Do you live in the Naples area?
How many children are in your family?

Do you want to be featured in the Federation Star, the monthly Jewish newspaper, here in Greater Naples and in these monthly eblasts?
While children may be too young for some of the rituals associated with Yom Kippur, like fasting, here are 4 ways that kids can participate.

Explore Rosh Hashanah, the Ten Days of Returning, Yom Kippur, Sukkot, and Simchat Torah with this free and beautiful fall holidays guide from PJ Library.

Whether you live in an apartment building, on a cul de sac, or out in the country, there are lots of ways to build and decorate your own sukkah for Sukkot.

Did you enjoy receiving your Perpetual Jewish Calendar last month? We have even more resources to keep your family learning and celebrating the exciting turns of the Jewish year.
In this month’s book options, two girls’ friendship faces the ultimate test, a magical clay creature helps a couple of outcasts find where they fit in, a kid becomes curious about her Jewish identity, and everyone’s favorite rabbi returns to the Wild West. Verse, prose, or graphic novel, find your next great read from PJ Our Way this month. Choose your book by the 10th!

Know a creative kid who loves reading books, making videos, and writing blog posts? Applications for the National Design Team are open until September 30th! Team members get early access to PJ Our Way books, create original projects, build skills, and meet other kids from all different regions. All PJ Our Way kids from the US and Canada are invited to apply! Contact designteam@pjourway.org for more information.
Hello PJ Library Parents,
I am planning a variety of activities for your family. There will be fun and exciting activities for toddlers, preschoolers, and in-schoolers.
Anything from treasure hunts, to clay modeling, picnics in the park or trips to the zoo. We want your ideas and…we want you! Check out the weekly JFGN's eblasts to register for all the fun. And, if you have any new ideas for a project, or a place to go, or want to be a volunteer to help with any of these, please contact me.
