Volunteer for PJC's Purim Fest

As we prepare for Purim (March 3), the PJC will continue the 2,000-plus-year-old tradition of sending gifts of treats, mishloach manot, to family & friends.

THAT MEANS YOU!

Every PJC member / Learning Center family will receive one fun Mishloach Manot bag.

It is customary to give tzedakah/charity to celebrate this generous tradition and raise funds for the PJC and people in need. Please sign up to pack or deliver bags (with your kids) in your neighborhood. And/or donate to our fundraiser.

Got a Hosting Idea?

Want to host a get-to-know-you gathering, or organize a themed event, for PJC families with kids? Bowling? Skating? A Ladies Night or Men's Night? We'd love to hear your suggestions---and we will be delighted to provide support.

This Month in Jewish History

On Jan 31, 1949 , President Harry Truman extended America's de jure recognition to Israel, seven months after the U.S. became the first country to give de facto recognition to the new Jewish state. De jure signifies the legal acknowledgment of sovereignty and establishes diplomatic relations, legal standing and rights under international law.
