Early August Pick-up Games ( Optional - Registration Required)
This is an optional opportunity for those interested, in-town, available, and comfortable attending. This is not an evaluation - it is not a camp - there is no cost - we are just looking to get together and play. As with all groups operating this summer, we must follow the guidelines and protocols established by the Minnesota Department of Health and the Center for Disease Control, so pick-up games need to look a little different than they have in the past. A summary of safety protocols is included below, and more specifics will be provided to those that register.

  • Monday, August 3
  • Tuesday, August 4
  • Thursday, August 6
We will split players into groups/times based on the number of players registered.
  • GROUP 1: 9:00am-10:15am
  • GROUP 2: 10:45am-12:00pm
Use the link below to register to attend the pick-up games. PLAYERS MUST BE REGISTERED IN ORDER TO ATTEND - REGISTRATION CLOSES FRIDAY, 7/31. Based on registrations, groups of less than 25 will be created and sent out to those registered over the weekend - included in this email will be the safety protocols that will need to be followed in order to participate. With limited group sizes, players that register are expected to attend.
Summary of safety protocols:
  • Groups of less than 25 will be created based on registrations - groups will remain separate and players will not be allowed to switch between groups. At most one group per half, and two groups per time slot.
  • Players/families should be checking for symptoms at home each morning. Any players that have come in close contact with someone that has tested positive should not attend these sessions. Any players not feeling well, displaying any symptoms, or being tested because of symptoms or possible contact should not attend. The same is true for coaches in attendance.
  • Players will be asked to remain socially distant as they arrive, and will space out along the sideline when they arrive.
  • Players will need to have their own water bottle, and are expected to have hand sanitizer in their bags that should be used upon arrival and departure.
  • Players should refrain from unnecessary contact while on and off the field.
  • Players should refrain from touching the face and mouth with their hands & are asked to cover all coughs/sneezes appropriately with their arm/elbow.
  • Any coaches in attendance will wear masks unless they are playing.
  • Players will be asked to bring a white shirt along with a dark (navy/black/other dark color) shirt to be used to split teams - all players will need to have shirts on while they play.
  • If needed, coaches will have one set of scrimmage vests to use if needed when splitting teams - vests will be washed between each use and will not be used by more than 1 player between washes.
  • Soccer balls are other equipment will be sprayed with disinfectant between use.

As mentioned, more specifics will be sent those that register.
We are excited about adding this opportunity in addition to the workouts the boys should be completing!
