Phase 2 of the workout program is now available on the website

Congrats to those that have been completing the workouts to this point! Not only will you be physically prepared to compete this fall, but you will also be less likely to struggle with injuries as we get started. To see the full benefit, be sure to complete every rep of every workout - push yourself, record scores/times, and encourage others to do the same!

To access Phase 2 of the workout program:
  • Go to http://www.lakersoccer.com
  • Click "Sign in" link in the top right corner and sign in using the same account used when registering for the summer fitness program.
  • Once signed in, the SUMMER WORKOUTS 2020 page should appear in the top menu
  • Scroll down to find Phase 2 of the program at the bottom of the page

It is recommended you print or save the pdf for easy access over the next few weeks. It's also a good idea to preview workouts ahead of time and ask any questions you have if you don't understand.

The first workout for Phase 2 is on Monday, June 29. Phase 2 starts with the same fitness test as the Phase 1 - this will allow players to check their progress. Keep track of the total time it takes to complete the test - make sure you are completing every rep - make a note if you have to make any adjustments in order to finish. The goal is to keep getting better, so be honest and use the opportunity to see where you are at.
