Our Neighborhood
Jefferson Park has NO Entrance Signs
Fundraiser needs your help!
Suggested design
Neighborhood volunteers have been working with the City of Tucson to get permission, city permits etc. to create Entrance Signs for Jefferson Park.  The work must be completed by a City approved contractor, so they have been soliciting bids. We can now begin to solicit donations for the effort. Our projects depend on the generosity of our neighbors and our larger community. Please consider a donation, and, if you know a business, please consider asking them to participate.  CLICK HERE for the donation form. Friends of Jefferson Park, Inc. is a non-profit and will be sending receipts for tax purposes.

CYCLOVIA in Review
Sunday April 7
Cyclovia at the Jefferson Park Little Free Library had free books, a mini-museum of Jeff Park history, lemonade and T-shirts for sale.  Beautiful day and many, many bikes and riders.
The corner of Vine and Lester was really jumping!  Jeff Park volunteers visited with many Tucsonans and discussed our unique and historic neighborhood. Thanks to Ken for letting us use your corner.  The little free library is now famous!
Many thanks to the JP volunteers: Colleen, Mary, Alan, Rosemary, Trish, Laurel-Heather who manned the booth. Thanks Liz for the donuts.  And thanks to Minami who brought lemonade and two cute kids to help.
Yes, It is true what you see - a bike of bones.  One of many creative bikes!

The Banner community parklet is so near completion.  It changes every day!

Banner Hospital patients who wander...
There have been reports of patients leaving the Banner property and short-cutting through the neighborhood.  These folks are in various states of health.  Patients who are on foot are sometimes at risk, and are not good for Banner nor for the neighborhood
Call Banner Security 520-694-6533
if you witness any wandering patients or find any tossed bandages, etc.
If the situation warrants, call 911
BUT ALSO call Banner Security so it can be recorded.
We appreciate Banner's willingness to be pro-active, and neighbors must be diligent about reporting occurrences.
