Dear Parent Crew, 

It was so nice to have some cooler weather this week. I hope you all have some wonderful plans for the Labor Day weekend. We are now two weeks into this school year and the new rhythms of hybrid learning are beginning to become routine. I know this has taken a great deal of creativity from everyone. Thank you all for your support of your children and our school!

I, also, want to make you aware of some information that will be coming out next week that will help clarify and systematize a few things. Next week, please expect communication on what attendance looks like for virtual learning days and what to expect for continued instruction should a cohort, class, grade-level, building, or the whole school need to quarantine for a period of time. When you receive this information please read it and save it for future reference.  

Our Crew is truly seeking to maximize safety and learning, minimize disruptions to your child’s education, and help do our part to inch back to 5 days of in-person learning for all. We are so grateful for your feedback and support.  

Here is one celebration to close. Yesterday, pick up was done by 4:10. You all deserve a lot of credit for that. Thank you for following our procedures and for being patient with us and each other as we iron out the wrinkles!

MORNINGS EASIER?

FREE Breakfast is now being provided for all students 18 and under!
We will be handing out breakfast bags each morning beginning at 8:55 am along the Parent Drop Off Lane.
Each bag will include a main dish and a fruit. Milk will be offered too.

Take a little stress out of your morning and have your students pick up a bag!
STONE CANYON OUTDOOR EDVENTURES
Stone Canyon Outdoor EdVentures is excited to kick off our Fall 2020 season. We have many updates and some exciting announcements!
We’re sending out monthly newsletters
to keep you up to date with the latest and greatest. Also, be sure to ‘like’ the Stone Canyon Facebook page @ facebook.com/stonecanyon to keep in the loop.
This season we’ll be bringing outdoor education to schools and e-learners alike, while also offering monthly Family Camps, themed camps, and breaking ground on a new high ropes course!

DROP OFF
Student Arrival: 8:55 - 9:05

  • There is no adult supervision for students prior to 8:55 am.
  • Students will go to their outside classroom door for entrance into the buildings.
  • Breakfast is served daily for students for $2.00 at both our North and South Campus'.
  • Students participating in breakfast will enter through the main office doors at 8:55am.
  • Buses will release students from buses at 8:55am.
PICK UP
School Ends at 4:00 pm

Bus Students
  • Please make sure your student knows there Bus Number.
Walkers
  • If your student is walking home without supervision, please email your student's teacher to let them know.
Parent Pick Up:
  • Cards with your student information were sent home this week with your student.
  • If you need a replacement or need changes please fill out this form and a new one will be sent home.

BUS ROUTES AND STOPS HAVE CHANGED!
  • Due to COVID-19 restrictions and the requirements for social distancing on our buses families will need to contact transportation to verify if their student is eligible for service from your home address to your school of enrollment before receiving a bus pass. Please submit this form to our department and we will provide a response within 1 business day.
