This new KMA exhibit focuses on Wu’s Cyano-Collage Series, that fuses Eastern aesthetics with collage and photographic processes to reinterpret traditional Chinese Shan Shui (mountain-water) landscape paintings.

Jacob Burns Film Center's Emerging Screenwriter Fellowship

In collaboration with NYU Tisch School of the Arts, JBFC will host a screenwriting intensive for 10th and 11th grade students this fall. Led by NYU Professor Jeremy J. Kamps, the JBFC Emerging Screenwriter Fellowship will be a six-week course consisting of thirteen engaging sessions on the JBFC Campus.

The Schoolhouse presents (mis)Understanding Mammy a one-woman play about Hattie McDaniel the first African-American woman to win an Academy Award. It will star Myra Lucretia Taylor a Tony Award-nominee for her performance in the 2019 Tina, a jukebox musical about Tina Turner.
