Legislators want MA to be a national abortion provider!
Dear VICTOR,
The legislature is ramming through an abortion and sex-change expansion act that will turn Massachusetts into the abortion and sex-change capital of the nation!
HB 4930, an act expanding protections for reproductive rights, goes beyond abortion to include "gender-affirming medical care" as "legally-protected health care activities."
Gender-affirming treatments are nothing more than dangerous experimental sex-change treatments such as puberty blockers, hormone therapies, and even sex-change operations to address gender confusion.
The long-term effects of these treatments are unknown and could cause permanent sterilization. That's why states like Texas consider these treatments as abusive.
The state House of Representatives has indicated it could vote on the HB 4930 TODAY!
The bill creates a scheme for abortion and experimental sex-change providers to perform these procedures in states where they are illegal by allowing the secretary of state to designate Massachusetts addresses for providers of these procedures and individuals, even underaged children, seeking abortions or dangerous sex-change procedures.
It also protects doctors, hospitals, and other health-care providers of these procedures from legal action from other states.
Equally disturbing is HB 4930 allows the secretary of state to consult with Planned Parenthood, Reproductive Equity Now (formerly National Abortion Rights Action League of Massachusetts), and GLBTQ Legal Advocates and Defenders in writing regulations to implement this law.
These political activist organizations have a financial interest in the eventual regulations.
Regulations are supposed to be written in an unbiased, disinterested fashion. These regulations will be loaded with conflicts of interest.
This will make Massachusetts the Commonwealth of Abortion and Sex-change Procedures exporting death and dangerous experimental sex-change therapies throughout the country!
HB 4930 also tells the Department of Public Health to establish a "statewide standing order" authorizing pharmacists to dispense "emergency contraception." The "standing order" would be issued by a physician affiliated with the scandal-ridden Department of Public Health.
It has the appearance that a woman, or even an underaged girl from another state, may be able to get an "emergency contraception," which is really a chemical abortion, without even seeing a doctor!
This is outrageous and must be stopped!
Governor Baker even wants to make Massachusetts the abortion capital of the nation. Earlier this week, he said that "...there may in fact be a big opportunity for Massachusetts to encourage some employers to either come here or expand their footprint here because..." employees will be able to get abortions here.
How disgraceful.
You should also call your legislators at (617) 722-2200 and tell them to vote NO on HB 4930 and to otherwise oppose this very bad legislation.
This is an all-hands-on-deck alert! Men, women, and children who live in states where abortion and these dangerous sex-change treatments are either illegal or highly regulated will be able to come here for these procedures, or order their chemical abortion from a Massachusetts pharmacist.
Unbelievably, it also prohibits law enforcement authorities in Massachusetts from working with out-of-state authorities in cases involving abortion or sex-change therapies.
Finally, HB 4930 will require health insurance providers to provide abortions without deductible, copays, coinsurance, or other cost-sharing requirement.
VICTOR, you are the voice of the unborn. You must let their voice be heard.
Sincerely,
Bill Gillmeister
Executive Director
P.S. The radicals are attempting to turn Massachusetts into the Commonwealth of Abortion and Sex-change procedures by ramming through HB 4930. It sets up a scheme to provide abortions and dangerous, experimental sex-change procedures to men, women, and children in states where they are illegal. Further, it provides a "standing order" for pharmacists to dispense chemical abortions, and protects Massachusetts abortion providers from legal action from outside the state.
