KEY INFORMATION!!

After our last elections at end of fall, the PAL is still left with multiple key board roles that are vacant. Below is the current status of our board, with Bold Red positions being currently vacant and on 2 year terms.

The positions are:

• President- Mike Roberge
• VP - Vacant
• Treasurer- Vacant
• Secretary- Meghan Dockery
• Honorary Chair- Chris Murphy
• Baseball Rep- Kevin McCarthy
• Softball Rep- Jon Duclos
• Facilities Manager- (Vacant, One year remaining)
• Equipment Manager- Christina Allen
• Kitchen Coordinator- Vacant
• Fundraising/PR- Jill Cleveland

If these roles stay vacant, the PAL operations and programs may be impacted. Clinics, night games, summer ball, fall ball, etc.

This is a great opportunity to influence what happens at the PAL and be a part of the many great things the PAL does for the Plainville & KP Communities. It’s a special place driven by generations of volunteers, and we truly hope you’ll consider running/volunteering for one of the open positions.

As we gear up for another exciting season of baseball and softball here are some KEY DATES to take note of.

• Baseball and Softball Evals 3/8

• Spring Cleanup 3/21 (Rain date 3/22)
• PAL General Meeting 3/29 7pm

We are expecting that there will be a Dick's Sporting Goods Coupon available for the weekend of March 20th. As soon as we have that info it will be sent out.

The PAL will be hosting the annual Spring Cleanup on Saturday March 21st starting at 9:00 AM (Rain Date of March 22nd. We have a lot to do to Open the facility and prepare for the Spring Season. Many volunteers will be needed to ensure all our tasks are done. A task list will be available at the cleanup at the PAL and will take any suggestions/ideas on items that should be done in addition! Any time you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
