DECEMBER 2025

Dear Staff,

As the holiday season approaches, we’re excited for the celebrations happening across the agency. As we wrap up another year, we want to extend our sincere gratitude for your hard work, dedication and the remarkable accomplishments we’ve achieved together. You are the heart of this organization, and we’re deeply thankful for the impact you make every day.

We are in the final days of the Four Leaf Best of Long Island voting period, where ACLD has been nominated in the following categories: Place to Work and Charity. Voting is open until December 15, so please see the below information and get those votes in!

The ACLD Foundation is giving you the opportunity of a lifetime with their Super Bowl Raffle. More information can be found below, but make sure you purchase your tickets soon! We will be pulling the winning ticket on December 19th livestreamed on our Facebook Page.

ACLD's Annual Giving Tree is back this season, providing gifts with plenty of gifts still left on the digital tree to claim. Please see the information regarding the Giving Tree below, and contact Sarah Klaum with any questions.

In this edition of Limelight, we provide an update on our recent Jamaica relief drive, highlight the most recent Employees of the Quarter and hear other news from across the agency.

We hope you enjoy this edition and have a safe, healthy and happy holiday season!

Sincerely,

Rob, Kim, Gerard and Anne Marie

Robert Ciatto, President/CEO

Kim Leonard, Chief Financial Officer

Gerard DiMuro, Chief Administrative Officer

Anne Marie Sime, Chief Program Officer

Jamaica Relief Drive

A huge thank you to all who participated in our Jamaica Relief drive. Thanks to your generosity, we were able to donate 2 containers of non-perishable food, hygiene kits and several cases of water to ALL4JA, a charitable organization serving Jamaica and the Caribbean that focuses on youth, community and sustainability. Special thanks to Narada Brooks for helping to organize and manage the delivery of these items!
