We recently emailed a survey to all our Green Mountain Region Porsche Club members, in order to get ideas and a feel for what you would like to see us doing in your club. Your club board, under Carl Wulfestieg, president, very much wants and needs your input. The first survey return yielded some good ideas but at about 15% response rate of our total membership of 180, we need to hear to from the rest of you. It only takes a few minutes to complete. This is your club! The questions are very specific and give you a chance to say what kind of tours you'd like, driver's ed, rallies, more lunches, dinners.. and so on. Of course, if you think things are going great, you can say that too!

Our Events Chair, Duffy Miller, is running the survey even as he continues to oversee development of our great 2020 tour schedule. Note that if you started to take the survey before and logged out, you will need to use a different browser or device to complete the survey. Your identify is not recorded unless you want to; in that case just add your name in one of the fields.

Save the Dates! Here is your GMR Porsche Club 2020
Tour and Meeting Schedule!

Saturday May 2 --
  • Spring Driving Tour and Membership Meeting
  • We will have north and south starting locations leading to the Capitol Plaza Hotel in Montpelier where we will have lunch, followed by the Spring Membership meeting. New members are especially urged to join in!!

Friday June 12 and Saturday June 13 (Overnight)
  • Rob Rubin is planning an interesting ride through southern Vermont and working with the Grey Ghost Inn for those who may be interested in spending Friday night, June 12, in West Dover.

Saturday July 11 – TBA

Saturday August 8, or optional date August 15 – TBA - save them both for now.

Saturday September 19 -- Dave Kynor is working out the details for a hosted picnic and tour. Thanks Dave!

Saturday October 17 --
  • Fall Foliage Tour & Membership Meeting
  • We will have north and south starting locations leading to a common destination for the Membership meeting.

Saturday December 5 --
  • Holiday Dinner & Party – We are planning to go back to Burlington for a festive evening, probably the Hotel Vermont

NOTE: The Events Committee under the leadership of Duffy Miller has prepared this schedule for 2020. As in past years the tours will commence in May and continue through October. The Events Committee needs help and would like to hear from you if you are interested in leading one of the tours. If you are a “newbie”, don’t worry! There is a wealth of experience in the Club that you can draw upon, especially by teaming up with another member. The cost is $15.00 per name tag.
