BELLE CHASSE – Plenary Infrastructure Belle Chasse will remove and permanently close Planters Canal Road and Mildred Street railroad crossings along LA-23 northbound, starting Monday, April 18, 2022. Crews will remove the two crossings to install the proposed detour paving. Traffic control devices will be installed, per approved Traffic Control Plan.
Temporary detour signs will be in place to direct traffic to access this area through Burmaster Street. The area will also be accessible using East X Street.
