BELLE CHASSE – As crews prepare to widen southbound lanes on LA23 in preparation for the new Belle Chasse Bridge, temporary striping will be installed in the traveling lanes near the Algiers Outfall Canal.

The work will begin on Monday, February 28, 2022. Two-lane traffic traveling southbound on LA23 will shift towards the inside travel lane from Timber Ridge Drive to the LA23 Spur Track Rail Crossing. Southbound LA23 traffic conditions will be affected off and on during the striping operations. All work is weather permitted.
