Pacific Landscape Management Receives Hillsboro Business of the Year Award

Servicing 350 commercial properties in the Portland metro area, Pacific Landscape management is hard to miss--providing quality landscaping and irrigation service in their signature, orange uniforms. Founded in 2001 from scratch, the company has grown from three founding employees to 110 today, with offices in Hillsboro, Parkrose, and Sherwood. In fact, they have been named one of the fastest growing private companies by Portland Business Journal six years in a row. They're also in the top five largest landscape contractors in Oregon.
Oregon Business Magazine listed Pacific Landscape Management as one of the 100 Best Places to Work, and also in the top 100 Best Green Companies five years in a row. President and co-founder Bob Grover remarked: "We can't do good work without good people, and we can't have good people without doing good work." Grover along with Vice President Elias Godinez provide a strong company culture centered on customer service and employee development. Opportunities are provided for in-house training, outside education, and a variety of certifications in the industry. Each year, employees gather for an annual meeting to provide feedback on how to be a better service provider and employer. Says Grover: "It's a challenging but fun place to work. We have six employees celebrating their 12-year anniversary and almost have of the employees have worked here five-plus years."
