PMCN Testimony:
Providing Critical Resources
Testimony by Bridgett, Spouse of a Reservist

PMCN is an amazing organization and it has been extremely helpful in providing critical resources to soldiers in need. Going the extra mile does not even begin to encompass how devoted the folks at PMCN are to our military.

My experience with PMCN actually began with a simple interview request in my capacity as a reporter for a local newspaper. During the interview I mentioned that I wished other states had similar support networks, as my husband was a company commander of a reserve unit in Las Vegas and frequently struggled to find the right help for his soldiers.

New text feature available through VA’s Women Veterans Call Center
Women Veterans can now connect with the WVCC through text messaging. Similar to the existing call line and online chat, women Veterans will be connected with WVCC representatives who can answer general questions about benefits, eligibility, and services specifically for women Veterans. By offering more ways to reach WVCC representatives, women Veterans can choose the most convenient way to get the information they need.

PMCN helps service members avoid financial hardship
Peak Military Care Network (PMCN) partnered with the Colorado Thirty Group to support Soldiers and families of the 4th Combat Aviation Brigade related to holiday leave that was cancelled, causing an unplanned financial burden on these Soldiers and families through no fault of their own. Thanks to support from Colorado Thirty Group members, Association of the United States Army (AUSA) Pikes Peak Chapter members, and Citizen Soldier Connection, PMCN was able to contribute funds to remove this financial burden and enable the 4th CAB to take care of its Soldiers and focus on their important mission. On April 29, 2019, PMCN Board members and staff, along with representatives of the Colorado Thirty Group and AUSA Pikes Peak Chapter presented a check to the Army Aviation Association of America, Pikes Peak Chapter. PMCN is proud to partner with local agencies to ensure our service members and their families know that our community fully supports them.
May is National Military Appreciation Month
National Military Appreciation Month honors the current and former members of the U.S. Armed Forces. PMCN strives to appreciate our military members and veterans everyday by connecting them to essential resources to ensure they thrive in our community.

Thank you to our service members, members of the Guard, Reservists, veterans and their families!
Community Donations
PMCN would like to thank these three amazing community organizations for their generous donations! These funds will help PMCN continue our mission to connect service members, veterans and their families to essential community resources.
