Reflecting on 3 Incredible Years Volunteering for the PDD
While currently serving as the VP of Marketing and Communications, I began my PMINYC volunteer career as the Director of the Professional Development Day (PDD) in 2022. Clearly I enjoyed the work, the team and the opportunity to innovate since I continued in that role for two more years, co-directing with Fred Stein for 2024.
With the PDD 2024 officially behind us, I want to celebrate the success and express my gratitude with our community. This year's event was particularly special to me as it marked our return to an in-person format for the first time since 2018!
I specifically want to give a heartfelt shoutout to our PDD 2024 Event Team:
⭐ Fred Stein ⭐ Brianna Callendar ⭐ John Young ⭐ Liliana Brotchner ⭐
⭐ Catherine Le ⭐ Ellen Ryan ⭐ Tiffany Newton ⭐ Dominic Ross-Onu ⭐ Margaret Gunnion ⭐
⭐ Darlene Weston ⭐ Booma Pugazhenthi ⭐ Songul Ayaz Alemdar ⭐ Te Wu ⭐
⭐ Harriet Halpern ⭐ Fawn Lipton ⭐ Brian Timpe ⭐ Zac Blitz ⭐
Your hard work, creativity and dedication have been the backbone of this event. From planning to execution, you’ve ensured everything ran seamlessly and made a lasting impression - I cannot thank you enough!
The feedback from participants has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the value of the knowledge shared and the connections made. It’s been an awesome journey...
As I step back from my role as director, I am confident that the foundation we’ve built together will continue to foster learning and growth for years to come. Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to making PDD 2024 a day to remember! - Kristen Zarcadoolas
