You may have noticed that our website was a bit out of date. Due to a technical glitch, we were unable to edit or update it for some time. Well, that is done and other with, and we are happy to announce that our new website is live!
We are still adding a lot of the wonderful resources that existed on our old site, so please bear with us as this is a work in progress. But, we are ecstatic that we can now update the site regularly with news and happening in historic preservation in NJ and the country.

National Historic Tax Credit Sign-on Letter
As you know, the federal Historic Tax Credit attracts private capital-$131 billion since inception-to revitalize often abandoned and underperforming properties that have a financing gap between what banks will lend and the total development cost of the transaction. The credit in turn generates new economic activity by leveraging private dollars to preserve historic buildings and create jobs; through 2016, the rehabilitation of 42,293 historic buildings has created more than 2.4 million jobs. Ask Congressional leaders to keep-and even improve-the federal historic tax credit by signing your organization to this letter:
