Hikes.
The Pacific Northwest has been under a blanket of snow since New Years, so this week I decided to explore Cherry Creek Falls, a moderate 5 mile hike located just outside of Duvall!!

With weather conditions making hiking at higher elevations extremely dangerous, this was the perfect hike for a cold winter day!! The trail is nice and wide [great hike for company, or pets] and you can hear the river as you wind through an enchanting mossy forest – ending at a 25 foot waterfall!!

The hike took me about 2 hours round trip and to make things interesting, I added a little extra credit... making my first adventure of the year 5.2 miles.

"I am so excited to share my goal for 2022! My GOAL and my DREAM for this year is to get hired on with a fire department as an Entry Level Firefighter. I have been working towards this goal for a little more than half a year, but this is the year that I want to make my goals and dreams a reality.
