52 Hikes | 52 Homes

“Where flowers bloom, so does hope.”

This is WEEK at a GLANCE - 52 weeks of my PNW adventures!

Join me as I journey through life on a mission to make a difference, one step at a time, one week at a time. How was your week? Here's a glance at mine...

Hikes.

While hiking the summit of Little Si this week, the sun was shining, the birds were chirping and the flowers were blooming! Spring is in the air and I am so excited for longer, warmer days here in the PNW! If you are looking for an amazing hike with views that will take your breath away, this is it! From the top, you can see Mount Si, which I hiked last week, along with a vast forest of stunning evergreen trees below. After taking it all in, I took a few photos and videos then made my way back to the trailhead. What a wonderful adventure!

Homes.

Are you thinking of selling your house this spring? If so, I can help! Here are three reasons why it's good to sell your home in the spring and why preparation is important:

Curb Appeal: During spring, the weather is usually more pleasant, allowing for better landscaping and outdoor improvements. Trees and flowers are blooming, which enhances the curb appeal and first impression of your home. Properly prepping your home by mowing the lawn, planting flowers, and cleaning up the exterior can make a significant difference in attracting potential buyers.

Increased Market Activity: Spring is typically considered the prime time for real estate transactions. Many families prefer to move during the spring and summer months, especially before the start of the new school year. This increased market activity means more potential buyers are actively searching for homes, leading to a greater likelihood of receiving competitive offers. Preparing your home by decluttering, depersonalizing, and staging it effectively can help it stand out in a crowded market.

Optimal Lighting and Atmosphere: Longer daylight hours and brighter sunlight during the spring can showcase your home's interior in the best possible light. Natural light can make rooms appear more spacious and inviting, which can positively influence buyers' perceptions of your property. Preparing your home by cleaning windows, opening curtains, and adding strategic lighting can enhance its appeal and create a welcoming atmosphere for potential buyers during showings.

Let's work together to prep your home and get the best return on your investment.
