This week I decided to focus on "mailers" - a real estate term where you advertise via letters in the mail. Although this approach is not eco-friendly, it works. But if you know me, I like do do thinks a little differently.
Welcome to Mailbox Peak - a unique hike with a mailbox sitting at 4,800 ft! I set out 10:30am and found that the trail was in great condition for this time of year! I was able to take the switchbacks all the way to the summit, with spikes on of course. And with each step, you could hear the ice and snow falling from the trees above as the temperature increased throughout the day. I arrived to the mailbox at 1:30pm, "mailed" a letter and took a few moments to enjoy some snacks & the everchanging PNW scenery! I was back down to my SUV by 4pm and highly recommend this hike if you are looking for a good work out & amazing views!! Can't wait to explore next week!
SPRING is almost here!!!!
