This week I hiked to the summit of Dirty Harry's Balcony with my mom and we had a wonderful time! This gorgeous trail is located between North Bend and Snoqualmie pass and is one of my favorites! The path starts along the emerald-colored South Fork River and offers outstanding views all the way to the top! There are several lookout points along the way and we were sure to stop at each one! It was the last day of winter and the weather was mild, yet very windy! The trees were howling and there was a blanket of pine needles on the forest floor! My mom and I hiked here a few years ago so it was fun to go back again and make more memories! Love that we live here and get to call the Northwest home.

Today is my birthday and this week my friends took me The Wayward Vegan Cafe in Seattle to celebrate!! Talk about a treat! This was my first time visiting this restaurant and I was absolutely blown away by the menu options. I wanted to try everything! I ordered the berry waffles and enjoyed every bite. Even the butter was vegan. I had a wonderful time with my friends and can't wait to come back here again soon! Wayward Cafe is located right by Greenlake - a perfect place to go for a walk & take in views after a delicious meal!
