2022 | Week 15
52 Hikes | 52 Homes
"Go the extra mile, it's never crowded."

This is WEEK at a GLANCE - 52 weeks of my PNW adventures!

From the sea to the summit, join me as I journey through life as an entrepreneur on a mission to make a difference, one week at a time.

How was your week? Here's a glance at mine...
This week, I set out to explore this local 1463 acre forest filled with stunning trails which include charming wooden bridges, ponds, meadows and rolling hills that offer valley views for miles. When I hike alone, I often trail run - only to stop for photos of course... photos like this one! I enjoy the challenge that trail running brings as it requires me to pay close attention to every step and it builds my endurance while strengthening me both physically and mentally. By getting outside on a weekly basis, I am able to recharge in nature and have made it a priority, no matter what. In preparation for a busy Easter Weekend, I made quick like a bunny & was reminded how lucky we are to have breathtaking places like this right in our backyard...

Congratulations to my buyer who is going to live in lux every day in this Shelter Bay gem! His new home is nestled on a large lot on a quiet street and offers a light & bright open floorplan with vaulted ceiling, skylights, large windows & a slider opening to the large entertainment sized deck. The chef's kitchen has crisp white cabinetry, quality stainless appliances, granite counters and a custom live edge breakfast bar! There are two bedrooms & one bathroom on the main level and the lower level that offers a bonus room, an additional bedroom, a full bath and unfinished shop/storage area. The home sits on a gorgeous piece of property that has a large yard with sunny southern exposure - plenty of room to relax, entertain, garden & play. There is ample guest parking so friends and family can visit, and it even has an electric car charger! In addition, the community amenities include a club house and pool, tennis, golf, parks, a stunning marina & sandy beaches.

And....last but not least, do you want to know the best part? After multiple counter offers, and several discussions pertaining to this unique property, our offer was accepted for UNDER ASKING PRICE.

The 52 Difference.
Are you keeping your goals TOP of MIND?

THE.HEMP.HIKER was designed with accountability in mind - a TOP of MIND reminder to make every week, YOUR week. With only 52 in production, I created an eco-friendly hat, featuring an organic hemp body that is from this earth, for this earth as 1% of proceeds are donated to Washington Trails. [52 cents]

52 hats. 52 goals. 52 weeks in the year to make it happen.

What will you do with your 52?

"My goals at my church started when I was nominated to join the high school leadership team. This was really important to me because I felt like I had a place. Soon after joining this team I was told about an upcoming mission trip to England in the works. Being on leadership I was part of planning the trip and fundraisers to make it happen. As fundraising started my goal was to raise the full price of plane ticket. I met this goal through an auction event and lots of donations. I soon after started making more goals to complete like, raising money to stay after my mission trip and explore England myself, earning enough money to pay for my entire trip, and lastly fundraise so I could bring my Dad with me. These goals at my church help me stay motivated in fundraising and don’t let me lose sight of what it’s for. Going to England we are focusing on helping in the community.

My education goals include graduating high school and getting into university shortly after. I am determined in my studies and I work hard toward this everyday. School has always been difficult so this goal became that much more important to me. I want to work with speech, language and hearing disorders. This degree is often competitive to get into so I know I need to stay focused on school. This occupation involves many different communities and I’m excited to explore this more. Another goal I have is I want to earn scholarships toward my college tuition. I am in a position where scholarships and grants would be extremely helpful in making my college dreams come true.

After school, my personal goals are to own my own home. I think meeting this goal will take a lot of work but it’s something I am long term striving toward. Also, I want to be successful in my career. I don’t know yet what that looks like yet. but I would love to feel comfortable and confident in my adult life. Lastly I value my time with my puppy, Leo, and would love to continue to have dogs in the future."

THESE GOALS ARE AMAZING AYLA!! Thank you so much for sharing your goals and for dreaming BIG! Your future is so bright and I am inspired and touched by your dedication to your goals and your desire to give back to others and the community. And thank you for allowing THE.HEMP.HIKER to make an appearance in your fundraiser! I am so happy to hear that your events were successful and that you guys are able to go to England!!
