18/52 | RACEHORSE FALLS | 3 MILES

Hikes.

This week, I set out to explore Racehorse Falls, a magnificent waterfall located in the North Cascades. It was a far drive for a short, steep hike; however well worth it!

The trail was lined with flowers and you could hear the hum of falls in the distance - getting louder with each step. Upon arriving to this viewpoint, I faced my fear of heights and stood on the ledge taking it all in. It was as if the water had somewhere to be or like it was chasing a goal, just like a racehorse. It was absolutely mesmerizing - and I probably could have here all day... however, as you may know, I am curious by nature so I continued my journey onward and upward to enjoy the stunning valley views [and snacks] at the summit.
