This week, I hiked through the Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary - a unique and beautiful natural area located in Everett. The sanctuary is a 46-acre wetland that is protected from development and preserved for the enjoyment of visitors, visitors like me! In addition, The Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary is home to a wide variety of plant and animal species and you can explore the sanctuary's trails and boardwalks to observe these animals in their natural habitats. One of the most interesting aspects of the Narbeck Wetland Sanctuary is its role in protecting the local ecosystem. The wetland serves as a natural filtration system for the surrounding area, helping to purify water and prevent flooding during heavy rainfalls. This is the perfect local place to enjoy a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, birdwatching, and photography. The sanctuary is open year-round and is free to the public. It is an excellent destination for families and nature enthusiasts looking to explore the beauty of the Northwest.

Looking Glass Coffee, located in downtown Snohomish, is a coffee shop, pub, live music/event venue, gift shop, and community gathering place. While visiting, their friendly and skilled baristas will spoil you with an individually crafted espresso or chai drink, hot chocolate, tea, or Italian soda. In addition, they also offer a selection of hot sandwiches, salads, soup, bagels, pastries, and mini dessert waffles made hot and fresh right in front of you! I absolutely love their vegan muffins, however, this week, I tried their vegan breakfast sandwich and it was amazing!!
