I can finally check this hike off of my bucket list! Tolmie Peak Lookout is one of the 93 Towers that is perched atop a mountain in Washington State. I have wanted to visit this trail for years now and had even tried to attempt it once before but was turned around due to unpredictable weather. I remember the road and how long and bumpy it was and to be honest, might be the reason why it took me so long to try again. Let's just say first and foremost, it was worth it. It was everything I had hoped for, and more. The path begins along a vibrant teal lake, called Mowich Lake and continues through the pines as you climb towards the summit. Along the way is another lake, called Eunice Lake and from here, you can see your destination. This lake is breathtaking and is even prettier from above. With Mount Rainier framed perfectly in the background, the views from the switchbacks get better with each step. At the top is a cute little building that was strategically placed to see as much land as possible as it was once used for rangers to spot forest fires. Although you aren't able to go inside the lookout now, can you imagine waking up to this?! WOW!

"My name is Kaysea Johnson 28 years young, an entrepreneur that recently opened a storefront business combining my two passions into one. I started a small business in 2020 making custom signs and gift basket designs and this year I was able to combine that with floral designs by opening 360 shops- Floral, gifts, and more. Making it a one-stop shop for any occasion, with handmade home decor items, custom gift baskets, and floral designs of fresh flowers and house plants as well!

My goal is to build a steady foundation for me and my little girl who is 1.5 years old. She comes to work with me every day! Being my own boss allows me a schedule in which I am able to be involved in my little girl's life every day, teaching, learning and growing with her. 

I’ve always loved the idea of turning my passions and love for art and design into something that I could make a living off of. I can’t believe I am finally able to do so after many years of hard work it has paid off, thriving in the small beach town of Ocean Park, Washington!"
