Before I set out on my weekly adventures, I always do research about where I would like to go, which oftentimes will include photos. If you have been to Oyster Dome, or if you have seen pictures, you would know that the views of the Puget Sound from the summit are breathtaking. So, this week, I set out to explore this trail and was blown away when I got to the top! Although the weather in the forecast was clear, the clouds completely covered the water view - which was beautiful, but so unexpected!! If you are near Bellingham, and want to hike, I highly recommend checking out this trail!

This week, I enjoyed a delicious vegan blueberry muffin and an americano from Zoka Coffee in Kirkland. Zoka opened its first location in Seattle, in 1997, with the hope of positively impacting our PNW community. With their truly fresh roasted coffee, vegan options, talented baristas, and a welcoming atmosphere - this place is such a vibe. They have since grown to four cafes, and believe it or not, their coffee is actually roasted locally in Bellingham! They have won numerous awards, take pride in what they do, and are known for treating their customers with something special every single visit.
