Hikes.

This week I went hiking with my mom and we had the best time exploring Wallace Falls! Located in the Cascade Mountains, this stunning waterfall is a must-see! When we began our adventure, the weather was amazing - the sun was shining, which not only kept us warm, but it illuminated the forest and made for a beautiful contrast between the frozen ground and the moss on the trees. As we continued on, the sound of the rushing river alongside the trail was mesmerizing and only got louder the closer we got to the falls. What I love about this hike is that it has several lookout points to enjoy. The viewpoints include the lower falls, the middle falls, the upper falls, and the valley overlook. All of which are absolutely breathtaking. I think my favorite might be the middle falls; however, it is so hard to choose. By the time we got to the overlook, the clouds rolled in and it began to rain. We quickly enjoyed the views and had a few snacks before hiking back down to the trailhead.
