2022 | Week 43

52 Hikes | 52 Homes

“Knowledge is power.”

This is WEEK at a GLANCE - a glance at 52 weeks of my PNW adventures!

Powered by passion and inspired by the Northwest, join me as I journey through life as an entrepreneur on a mission to make a difference in the lives of others, and in our community… one step at a time, one week at a time.

Hikes.

This week...I decided to continue to take it easy and went on a short, new, adventure!

A few weeks ago, I broke my toe, so my elevation gains have been a little less than I would normally like to be getting this time of year. Fall is my absolute favorite season to hike... but with an injury, the smoke, then the heavy rain/snow... a simple walk through the woods was just what I was looking for. I decided to explore the Timberton Loop as I was showing my clients a few options for their second home over on the peninsula and this fun little hike was just down the street! The trail is a loop and was boasting fall colors the entire way! I had a wonderful time checking out this new path and hope to be back soon!

Homes.

One thing I love about my job is my ability to help others. In addition to buying and selling real estate in Washington State, I am able to use my tools and resources to provide my friends, family, past clients, and current clients with valuable information. Since joining Compass, I have been able to help several homeowners by giving them a CMA report.

What is a CMA?

A Comparative Market Analysis is a visual snapshot of your home's value in today's market and how it stacks up against others in the neighborhood.

The 52 Difference.

My goal each year is to transform the lives of 52 homeowners as I guide them through their home buying or selling experience.

For every home sold, I donate $52 to Washington Trails Association in support of our aligned mission to protect the place we call home, the Pacific Northwest.

MEET MIKE

"Hi! My name is Michael Manthey and I am a Loan officer with Origin Point from the Puget Sound region of Washington. My goals for the upcoming 2023 years is to match Rachel’s goal and assist 52 individuals/families in their home purchase next year! Helping homebuyers strategize and find the best possible financing solution has been my passion for the last 20+ years. In my time outside of the office and home, you will find me on the mountain bike trails of the Cascade Mountains or with my family on the Sound watching all the beautiful sea life from Whales to Porpoise to Sea lions. My mountain biking goal is to confidently be able to clear up to 25 feet gap jumps, big drops and ride some of the steepest terrain that our trail systems have to offer (with little to no injuries).  I enjoy the Mountains, Trees, Soil and Sea of the Pacific Northwest just as my parents, grandparents and great grandparents did before me."

Thank you so much for sharing your goals, and for matching mine! It is an honor to inspire others to reach their goals, one client at a time, one week at a time and I can't wait to see you summit yours, Mike!
