This week, I went for a hike through the Japanese Gulch in Mukilteo, and it was a serene escape after the Bomb Cyclone swept through. The trails were painted in vibrant leaves that blanketed the ground like a natural mosaic. As the sun rose, its golden light filtered through the trees as I hiked the loop towards the water. I caught the sunrise over the Puget Sound and it was absolutely stunning - so, I took a few photos while enjoying the calm after the storm. Even with the crazy weather, I am still grateful to call the Northwest home.
