The Olympic National Forest is one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to. From mountains to lakes to rivers and rainforests - it truly has it all! So this week, I set out to explore the Staircase Rapids trail with my mom and we had the best time on our adventure! The weather was lovely, especially given the time of year and even though it is a long trek to get to the trailhead - it is so worth it! We loved the moss on all of the trees, the sound of the rushing river and the striking teal water. After our hike, we visited Lake Cushman and then stopped my my grandpa's house on the way home to drop off holiday gifts! We had a wonderful day and are looking forward to coming back here again soon!
